	Offensive or Inappropriate Communication	The use of inflammatory, derogatory, or insulting communication. (See also Verbal Abuse)
	Retaliation	Conduct that subjects an individual to punishment or other forms of reprisal for reporting misconduct, or participating in an investigation, or for supporting another individual’s good faith complaint. Retaliation based on engaging with the Equal Opportunity and Compliance Office should be reported to the EOC.
	Verbal Abuse	Persistent harsh criticism, especially by a supervisor or person in higher authority, including criticism of a personal nature or that questions qualifications
	Violating Privacy	Inappropriately sharing personal information unrelated to the requirements of the work, gossip.
	Violence or Threat	An expression of the intention to inflict evil, injury, or damage to a person or their property. (Examples include: direct, veiled, conditional, violent); crimes should be reported to campus police.
