Alcohol / Drug Abuse The misuse or sale of either legal and illegal drugs including alcohol by students. (Examples include: cocaine, narcotics, marijuana, stimulants)
Bias Incident or Harassment Speech, act, or harassing action that targets, threatens, or attacks an individual or group because of their actual or perceived race, color, national origin, ethnicity, religious affiliation, sex, gender identity, disability, or sexual orientation.
Bullying Habitual intimidation, whether physical or mental, in person or on line.
Crime Reporting/Public Safety/Emergency Report a crime that occurred on campus that has not been previously reported to the University's Department of Public Safety. Do not use this site to report events presenting an immediate threat to life or property. Reports submitted through this service may not receive an immediate response. If you require emergency assistance, please contact the Department of Public Safety immediately at 610-519-4444.
Dangerous Practices An unsafe situation caused by the campus or students that would produce a dangerous environment. (Examples include, environmental damage, poor housekeeping, improper handling and disposing of hazardous materials.)
Discrimination Unfair treatment of a student because of his or her sex, race, color, national origin, religion, ethnicity, religious affiliation or disability. Use of retaliation or retribution.
Fire Safety Misuse of any fire safety or related equipment, possession of fire hazard (i.e. candles) in residence hall or other University building.
Hazing The demeaning of a student through physical or mental means for the purpose of initiations in, or acceptance into a group.
Improper Personal Relationships Sexual or romantic relationships between faculty and students in their class or under their supervision.
On-Line Misconduct Violations of UNIT policies regarding acceptable use.
Sexual Harassment The making of unwanted and offensive sexual advances or of sexually offensive remarks or acts, especially by one in a superior or supervisory position.
Sexual Violence An incident of rape, sexual assault or abuse or other forcible sex offense that has not been previously reported to either the Department of Public Safety or the Dean of Students.
Threatening Behavior The threat to persons or property with the intent of causing damage or physical harm.
Vandalism Intentionally, recklessly or negligently destroying, defacing or tampering with University property.
Weapons The sale or possession by any member of the campus community of any firearms, explosives or other lethal weapons.
