PDS Multinational
Accounting, Auditing and Internal Financial Controls Concerns regarding questionable practices relating to accounting, auditing or internal financial controls. Examples include, but are not limited to: improper or incomplete recording of transactions, misstatement of revenues, misstatement of expenses, misstatement of assets, misapplication of generally accepted accounting principles, or violations of record retention policies.
Carrying out any commercial or financial activities either in competition or otherwise with the groups’ business including suppliers, customers & service providers of the group individually or in collusion with another party. Employees who conduct any activity which may be competing with the interests of the group or otherwise either individually or in partnership with another person or organisation or if any such activity is in contravention of their contract with the company, such issues shall also be dealt with under this procedure.
Conflict of Interest A conflict of interest exists if an employee has an interest outside of work that interferes with work responsibilities and may affect his/her judgment on behalf of the company. For example, a conflict of interest may exist if a family member of an employee is associated with a supplier.
Disclosure of Confidential Information Unauthorized and unlawful disclosure of customer, employee or business information. Examples include, but are not limited to: Customer information - addresses, phone numbers, cardholder or other account data; Employee information - social security numbers, employee numbers, addresses; Business information - sales data, earnings information or anything about the company that has not already been published in a public document such as an annual report, a news release or on the company website.
Discrimination or Harassment Unwanted and/or unwelcome behavior - including physical, verbal or conducted through technological means - that creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive work environment and is directed at an employee based on sex; race; color; creed; national origin; religion; age; marital status; pregnancy; physical, mental or sensory disability; sexual orientation; gender identity or any other basis protected by federal, state and/or local laws. Examples include, but are not limited to: Bias in hiring, bias in assignments, retaliation, or inappropriate language.
Falsification of Contracts, Reports or Records Falsification of records consists of altering, fabricating, falsifying, or forging all or any part of a document, contract or record for the purpose of gaining an advantage, or misrepresenting the value of the document, contract or record.
Improper Giving or Receiving of Gifts Accepting or giving gifts (including meals, cash, checks, money orders, vouchers, gift certificates, loans, stocks or stock options, trips or other valuable items) from or to a vendor, competitor or others with whom the company does business or may potentially do business which may create the impression that the gift may have improperly influenced the decision to do business. Neither employees nor their family members may accept these types of gifts.
Insider Trading or other Securities Law Violations Securities law violations including insider trading or misstatements in filings with the SEC.
Substance Abuse Using, being under the influence of, possessing, distributing, selling or buying drugs (including drug paraphernalia) or alcohol on company property or time, including rest and meal periods. Drugs refer to any drug, including prescribed medication, that is not legally obtained or is used contrary to any prescribed dosage or purpose.
Theft Theft of company merchandise, money or other property.
Unauthorised subcontracting or Tier 2 operations Subcontracting in any form without approval from the compliance department either for the main operation or any Tier 2 operation like printing, embroidery, washing, or any work of embellishment is a Zero Tolerance Violation and has to be reported
Violation of Company Guidelines Willful or innocent actions that are in direct violation of company guidelines. Examples include, but are not limited to: employee merchandise discounts, exchange of merchandise, contest awards or merchandise, voicemail and email.
Violence or Threat Any kind of violence, threats or intimidation. Violence includes any verbal threats, intimidation, and/or physical force intended to damage property or injure people. Threats may be in the form of words, phone calls, e-mails, drawings, etc. Violence, threats and intimidation may arise out of personal or non-work-related issues such as domestic abuse or relationship breakups.
