ETHICSPOINT IS NOT A 911 OR EMERGENCY SERVICE.
Do not use this site to report events presenting an immediate threat to life or property. Reports submitted through this service may not receive an immediate response. If you require emergency assistance, please contact your local authorities.
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is committed to leadership and excellence, including the highest standards of integrity in performance of its missions. To help identify and address concerns about possible regulatory or policy violations in University activities related to finance, research, HIPAA and environment, health and safety, the University has selected EthicsPoint, Inc. to provide this Compliance Line including telephone and web based options for confidential reporting of noncompliance. This service does not supersede existing channels of communication on campus, but it is an additional option that the University wants to make available. This Compliance Line is structured to address specific noncompliance concerns rather than generalized complaints or unspecific allegations.
All reports submitted through EthicsPoint's "University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Compliance Line" secure web page or telephone line will be given careful attention by appropriate University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill administrators. We ask that you retain your report key and password and return to this website within 10 working days of filing a report to check for comments or follow-up questions. University policy prohibits retaliation or reprisal for making a report or inquiry in good faith or for seeking guidance on dealing with potential or suspected noncompliance. The University expects that reports made through the Compliance Line will be made in a good faith effort to address legitimate issues needing correction or guidance.
