Providence College has an ongoing commitment to ethics and social responsibility and recognizes its obligation to faculty, staff, and students to maintain the highest ethical standards. Providence College has established a hotline to provide a simple, anonymous way to confidentially report activities that may involve improper conduct or violations of College policies. Providence College has selected EthicsPoint to provide this service. You may file a report on this web site, or you may do so by telephone through the EthicsPoint Call center by dialing toll-free 800-523-5145.
Providence College has established a number of policies and procedures for handling the concerns and complaints of all members of our community. This hotline does not replace, nor does it supersede, existing reporting methods or protocols on campus. Instead, the EthicsPoint system is intended to offer an additional means of reporting in situations in which the individual making the report is unable or unwilling to use the existing procedures, and provides a method of reporting issues or complaints anonymously.
Providence College asserts that reports submitted via EthicsPoint will be handled promptly and discreetly, receiving careful consideration with the objective of addressing any improper conduct or violation of College policy if the facts can be corroborated. No retaliatory action will be taken against anyone for reporting or inquiring in good faith about potential violations of Providence College’s policies, or for seeking guidance with respect to suspected violations.
If you file a report through EthicsPoint, you are encouraged to return here or call back after 5 business days. Providence College may have information for you regarding your report, or may request additional information from you that is necessary in order to complete the investigation. In all cases, your anonymity will be protected by EthicsPoint.
