Marshall University's Ethics Reporting Line

Marshall University (Marshall) has contracted with EthicsPoint to provide a simple, anonymous way for employees to confidentially report activities that may involve certain improper conduct or violation of Marshall University’s policies. You may file a report on this site or by calling toll-free 1-888-559-8507.

Marshall considers concerns reported by employees very important and desires their utmost cooperation in resolving such issues. However, the EthicsPoint reporting system is not a substitute for existing reporting channels already established by Marshall. Marshall encourages reporters to bring their concerns to their supervisor or other campus entities through normal lines of communication where appropriate.

Our Commitment

Marshall University asserts that reports submitted via EthicsPoint will be handled promptly and discretely. No retaliatory action will be taken against anyone for reporting or inquiring in good faith about potential breaches of Marshall’s policies or seeking guidance on how to handle suspected breaches. Reports submitted through EthicsPoint will be given careful attention by Marshall with the objective of correcting the situation being reported, if facts can be corroborated. Employees are expected to use good judgment in the use of this reporting system.
