Our Commitment

Hamilton College promotes ethical behavior at all levels of the organization. In keeping with this commitment, Hamilton has selected the EthicsPoint Hotline to provide employees, students and other constituencies with simple, risk-free ways to anonymously and confidentially report activities that may involve ethical misbehavior, criminal conduct or violations of Hamilton College policies.

Individuals making reports are not required to provide their names, and Hamilton College will treat the investigation of any report confidentially. Reports submitted to EthicsPoint will be forwarded to the proper college officials for appropriate action. No employee or student will be subjected to reprisal or retaliation for making a report or inquiry in good faith or for seeking guidance on dealing with potential or suspected improper behavior.

Hamilton College takes ethical misconduct seriously and strives to resolve any issues that may arise. However, the College also encourages employees and students to discuss matters of concern with supervisors, counselors, the Human Resources office, or other appropriate individuals. The EthicsPoint Hotline does not replace or supercede normal lines of communication on Hamilton's campus.
