Our Commitment

The Boston Beer Company is dedicated to providing its customers with superior quality beers and its employees with a safe and productive workplace. Our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (the “Code”) applies to our directors, officers and employees and compliance is not a choice, but a requirement. The Code provides an ethical framework on which we base our decisions and our actions, both as individuals and as a company.

Officers and employees have an obligation to report any conduct that may be unethical, illegal, or otherwise inconsistent with the Code. The BBC Hotline is one method for reporting such unethical, illegal or improper conduct. Before contacting BBC Hotline, you are encouraged to consider whether or not you can directly raise your concern with someone at the Company. If you do not feel comfortable doing so, or do not know whom to contact, you can make a report to The Boston Beer Company on this website or, alternatively, by calling 888-261-1717.

Your web-based report or your call will be routed initially to EthicsPoint, an independent third party host for the BBC Hotline. The Company expects that reports made through the BBC Hotline are made in good faith and are real and legitimate concerns that the reporter believes should be investigated. The information you provide will be forwarded to the appropriate personnel or legal counsel for review and investigation. All reports submitted will be given careful attention by the Company. If you request to remain anonymous when making your report, we will respect your request. We will also treat your report confidentially to the extent possible. The Company will not permit retaliation for reports made in good faith by employees.

To Make a Report

You may use either of the following two methods to submit a report:

  • Call 888-261-1717 (toll free in the US and Canada),
  • or
  • Select the "Make a Report" link at the top of this web page.

This process is not intended to replace or supersede normal managerial and Human Resources communication channels.

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
