Board Policies to Consider
The State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education has issued two policies you should be aware of. Board Policy 3-70, Colorado Community College System Code of Ethics defines the responsibilities of Colorado Community College System employees system-wide. Employees of the Colorado Community College System are required to demonstrate the highest ethical standards at all times, which includes reporting inappropriate activity. Board Policy 3-71, Whistleblower Protection Policy, protects employees who report matters to Human Resources, Legal or Internal Audit, including reports entered through this website or the EthicsPoint call center.
You may remain anonymous by not reporting your personal information. If you should report your information, it could be subject to the Colorado Open Records Act.
What happens to the information I submit?
Human Resources issues are directed to the Human Resources Department at the System office. All other matters are reported to the Director of Internal Audit. Items are reviewed in summary by the Audit Committee, including the resolution of the issue. Your submission is reviewed to determine whether sufficient information exists to conduct an investigation. Using the instructions on this website we can communicate with you anonymously. Investigations or reviews can only occur when sufficient information is presented, so make sure to log back in periodically to check the status of your issue.
