Academic Affairs Any violation or behavior not keeping with the University’s policies, procedures, or principles related to the University’s academic programs and service areas. This may include the following: academic integrity, academic fraud, academic misconduct, cheating/plagiarism, credentials misrepresentation, FERPA, financial aid, scholarships, regulatory compliance, ASPT policies, Faculty Status Committees, academic freedom, or other academic matters.
Athletics Any violations or issues related to teams, coaches or the Athletic Department, as it relates to: NCAA compliance/violations, inappropriate activities, student-athlete welfare, other student-athlete or athletic matters.
Equal Opportunity and Access Any allegations of harassment and discrimination related to a person's race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, order of protection, gender identity and expression, ancestry, age, marital status, disability, genetic information, unfavorable military discharge, or status as a veteran in employment, educational programs and activities, or admissions. This includes Title IX related incidents.
Ethics Any violation of the State’s Ethics Act, State Law or University policy. This may include the following: political activity, gift ban, time reporting, misuse of University resources, Whistleblower/Retaliation, Fraud, Waste, or Abuse, Mismanagement, or Employee Misconduct.
Financial and Accounting Matters Any mismanagement of University funds or financial records. This may include the following: accounting and auditing Matters, falsification of records/contracts/reports, donor stewardship, fraud, improper vendor activity, theft/embezzlement, waste, abuse, or misuse of resources, purchasing or other financial/accounting matters.
Human Resources Any policy violation or inappropriate conduct not keeping with the University’s policies, procedures, and requirements regarding human resources and employee conduct. This may include the following: employment conflict of interests, employee benefits abuse, employee/supervisor misconduct, improper personal relationship, nepotism, offensive or inappropriate communication, threat or inappropriate supervisor directive, time abuse, violence or threat of violence in the workplace, employee recruiting and hiring, or other Human Resource matters.
Information Security Any violation or concerns related to the University information technology systems and use or access of University systems, data or information. This may include the following: inappropriate disclosure of confidential information or personal data, data privacy and integrity, inappropriate use or abuse of technology resources or data, software piracy/intellectual property infringement, or other technology matters.
Research and Sponsored Programs / Research Ethics and Compliance Any violations or concerns regarding the conduct and management of research and sponsored programs. This may include the following: violations or inappropriate conduct in conducting or managing research, compliance with federal, state, and University policies regarding research, research conflict of interest , research data privacy, research environmental and safety matters , export controls, fraud, human or animal research misconduct, intellectual property infringement, misappropriation or disclosure, grant misconduct or misappropriation of costs, scientific misconduct, responsible conduct of research, or other matters connected to the conduct of research on campus.
Risk Management Any concerns with the University’s risk management and safety concerns related to campus safety and University property or other risk and safety matters.
Student Affairs
