(Examples include: misstatement of revenues, misstatement of expenses, misstatement of assets, misapplications of GAAP principles, wrongful transactions.)
Bribery / Corruption
Offering something of value to gain an illicit advantage; using a position of trust to gain an undue advantage.
Company Policy / Procedural Violations
Any departure from company policy or facility procedures by any person subject to policy or procedure.
Customer Relations
The real or perceived display of lack of customer service or courtesy exhibited by Cuprum employees either by actions, lack of action, or something which was said by an employee or a combination of both.
Data Privacy Violations
The conveying of sensitive or personally identifiable information to another person, company, or entity in an unauthorized manner. Examples include: SSN, DOB, wage info, asset or credit info.
Discrimination
Any act or omission which fails to meet the standards of the Equal Opportunity Commission (EEOC) which includes all types of discrimination based on race, religion, age, nationality, sex, sexual orientation or disability.
Employee Relations Issues
Any act or omission, which is perceived to be detrimental to the physical or mental well-being of an employee. Can also include an employee performance issue.
Fraud / Theft / Embezzlement
Illegal appropriation of company funds or property, such as deliberate bookkeeping errors to mask theft or mishandling of company monies; deliberate attempts to deceive to receive gain, such as a fraudulent refund, transaction, or credit card. Can also include the illegal appropriation of personal funds.

Safety and Environmental Issues
Any condition which appears to be hazardous or unsanitary to the well-being of an employee, customer, facility, or general public.
Sexual Harassment
Unwelcome advances, request for sexual favors, and any other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.
Substance Abuse
The abuse of alcohol, or any illegal or legal drug used in the workplace or being used while at work.
Unethical Conduct
Any actions which violate generally accepted standards of business conduct.
Violation of Laws / Regulations
Description: A transgression that violates a criminal or civil law; or a violation of any regulatory body established by Congress, i.e. SEC, FINRA.
Wage / Hour Issues
Any departure from existing labor laws or concerns over hours or wages. This includes but is not limited to the following examples: employees being asked or required to work overtime without the appropriate compensation, employees not paid for the work they have performed, employees being paid less than minimum wage.
Workplace Violence / Threats
Any act which causes physical injury to a person or any acts or statements which cause a person to believe that his / her physical well-being is in jeopardy.
