Are reports to the Integrity Helpline secure and confidential?
- It is an easy-to-use confidential resource through which you can ask questions or report concerns about potential legal, ethical, or policy violations.
- Ryan’s Integrity Helpline is administered by an independent company (NAVEX), is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and can accommodate calls in more than 75 languages. You can contact EthicsPoint anonymously (unless prohibited by local law) by phone or through the web from most locations.
- Ryan encourages speaking with whomever you are most comfortable, such as your manager, another member of management, the People Group, or any member of the Legal Integrity & Compliance team.
- Once you submit a question or concern via telephone or web, it is sent to Ryan’s Legal Integrity & Compliance team to address. You will also receive a report key and password that can be used to follow up on your submission. Please keep your report key and password so you can check the portal for follow-up questions.
- Ryan prohibits retaliation of any kind in response to a report submitted in good faith. “Good faith” means the reporter had an honest belief that the information submitted was true or may be true. Good faith does not require certainty or conclusive proof when making a report, and a report may be in good faith even if the investigation later finds no violation occurred.
- Ryan uses NAVEX’s EthicsPoint case management application to support the administration of the Integrity Helpline. EthicsPoint is hosted on NAVEX’s secure servers and is not part of Ryan’s website or Intranet. Reports are considered highly confidential, to the fullest extent permitted by local law and good business practices.
