While we have developed and implemented internal controls and procedures that we hope will deter and prevent improper conduct, in instances in which improper conduct is suspected, there is an easy and confidential way for members of the University community to report such suspected conduct through Drexel University’s Compliance Hotline to someone who can be counted upon to investigate the issue promptly and fairly, without any fear of retaliation. Our Compliance Hotline is managed externally by EthicsPoint ensuring the confidentiality of reports made through the Hotline, as well as round the clock Hotline access by phone or web.
The following telephone number or web-link may be used to report any improper conduct to the University Office of Compliance, Privacy and Internal Audit:
  • Telephone report: 866-358-1010
  • Web report: click "Make a Report" from the menu above.
Every Compliance Hotline report is kept completely confidential. No information likely to reveal your identity will be shared with anyone else without your permission. Reporters will be completely protected from retaliation for having made good faith reports. The Chief Compliance Officer, or a designated Office of Compliance staff member, is required to report directly to the Audit Committee of the Board of Trustees once each quarter on all matters reported to the Hotline and the actions taken in response.
If you have something to report, it is usually best if your report is made directly to your supervisor or professor, your Department Head, your Dean, or a Vice President; but there are times when that might be difficult, and that is why the University established the Compliance Hotline. We owe it to ourselves to make the University the best place it can be.
The University's policy governing Hotline reporting and the Code of Conduct (which are applicable to all entities affiliated with Drexel University, and to all Trustees, officers, employees and each of their representatives) may be found at links in the above menu on this page. Questions about the University's Code of Conduct or the Hotline may be addressed to the Office of Compliance, Privacy and Internal Audit at compliance@drexel.edu.
