Customers/clients wanting to submit a complaint or ask a question related to First Citizens accounts, products, or services should visit the First Citizens Customer Service Site for contact numbers. If reporting an ethical concern, please review the following information.
See Something, PLEASE SPEAK UP!
Doing the right thing includes speaking up! Any First Citizens’ associate, customer/client, vendor, or anyone doing business with First Citizens may contact the EthicsPoint hotline to report an ethical concern, including if you suspect or become aware that any associate, or someone working on our behalf, may have engaged in a suspected or potential violation of law, our Code of Ethics, governance documents (e.g., policies, standards), or other conduct that conflicts with our values.
For associate relations matters involving FCB policies, standards, or employment concerns, please contact Human Resources via the HR Portal: Report a Concern.
Our Commitment
At First Citizens, we believe acting ethically is always the right thing to do, the right way to do business, and the best way to serve our clients, communities, associates, and shareholders. To support that mission, First Citizens has established the EthicsPoint hotline, which is a publicly available channel for raising concerns about First Citizens, our associates, and our businesses. The EthicsPoint hotline is managed by the First Citizens Ethics, Privacy & Governance department.
We have contracted with NAVEX, an independent third-party service provider that specializes in reporting ethical concerns and provides phone and internet channels where concerns can be reported. The reporting options are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in the countries in which we operate. You may choose to identify yourself when you report or report anonymously.
First Citizens wants you to feel secure when raising a concern. All reports are treated as confidentially as possible, consistent with the need to investigate and address the matter. First Citizens prohibits any form of retaliatory action against anyone who raises concerns or questions in good faith or those who participate in any subsequent investigations.
Other Reporting Resources
Associates may report concerns to their manager or to Human Resources as follows:
- U.S., Canada, Ireland, and Mexico based associates use the HR Portal.
- India-based associates send an email to IndiaEmployeeRelations@firstcitizens.com.
Raising concerns within First Citizens Bank does not prevent you from reporting the same concerns to law enforcement or the relevant government entity if there is a suspected or potential violation of law. If you are not sure whether to report a concern, seek guidance from your manager, Human Resources, or Ethics, Privacy & Governance.
