The Whitman community is committed to conducting its business according to the highest standards of ethical behavior. The College values the input of faculty and staff to ensure college-wide compliance with its Conflict of Interest Policy.
Whitman encourages faculty and staff to resolve issues whenever possible, by reporting directly to their respective supervisor or budget officer. The College has selected EthicsPoint to provide channels too anonymously and confidentially report activities, of a financial nature, which may involve unethical or otherwise inappropriate activity or behavior in violation of Whitman policies. For non-financial issues, Whitman Security, or the Office of Human Resources are among the options available to a reporting individual.
All reports submitted to EthicsPoint will be handled promptly and discreetly. No retaliatory action will be taken against anyone for reporting or inquiring about potential breaches of Whitman policies or seeking guidance on how to handle suspected breaches.
