Make a Report Follow-up on a Report Whistleblower Policy FAQ

To Make a Report

You may use either of the following two methods to submit a report:

  • Select the "Make a Report" link at the top of this web page.

  • Dial toll-free, within the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico and Canada:

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.

EthicsPoint is NOT a 911 or Emergency Service:
Do not use this site to report events presenting an immediate threat to life or property. Reports submitted through this service may not receive an immediate response. If you require emergency assistance, please contact your local authorities.

NAEYC’s mission is to serve and act on behalf of the needs, rights and well-being of all young children with primary focus on the provision of educational and developmental services and resources. NAEYC believes that its mission is best accomplished by a commitment to maintaining a strong culture of legal compliance, ethical integrity, and trustworthiness in the conduct of our business practices.

Please take the opportunity to review NAEYC’s Whistleblower Policy. If you are aware of a suspected or actual violation of the code, policy or other wrongdoing by others or a possible violation of federal, state law or regulations, including violations relating to fraudulent or negligent accounting, misappropriation or misuse of resources/funds, conflict of interest, breaches of confidentiality, harassment or discrimination, safety or security hazards or theft, please feel free to report them here or through the other reporting procedures described in the NAEYC Whistleblower Policy.

NAEYC’s Governing Board and management value your input. That is why we have selected Ethics Point to provide us with an anonymous and/or confidential method to hear your suggestions, concerns or report of misconduct. Please note that if you choose to report anonymously (which is completely fine) we cannot follow up with you for clarification or to inform you of any results. The information that you provide will be sent to us by Ethics Point on a confidential and anonymous basis. As set forth in our Whistleblower Policy and Code of Ethics, NAEYC maintains a policy of non-retaliation against persons reporting concerns in good faith.

Please note: Do not use this reporting mechanism to report complaints about NAEYC accredited early childhood education programs (or programs seeking accreditation). There is a different complaint process for you to use in that situation. To file a complaint or concern regarding an early childhood education program seeking or maintaining NAEYC Accreditation, please review the NAEYC Academy's Complaint Policy that you can access at the following link:
