We recognize the courage it takes to bring concerns forward, and we seriously consider all concerns and reports. VMware's policies prohibit retaliation against any person who provides information in good faith or otherwise assists in an investigation regarding actual or suspected misconduct. VMware keeps all reports confidential to the maximum extent allowable under applicable laws and business needs.

Independent and Confidential

The VMware Ethics Helpline is a global reporting system administered by an independent company, NAVEX. You may contact the Helpline anonymously from most locations, subject to local laws. You may ask a question or file a report directly from this site or dial the toll-free number for your country.

We carefully review all concerns reported in etica. If your concern leads to an investigation, here's what you can expect.

Investigations at a Glance
Intake

The Triage Manager reviews the report and assigns it to the appropriate team for handling within 3 business days.

You will receive a message through etica when an investigator is assigned.

Information Gathering

An investigator reviews the information provided and investigates the matter, including reviewing documents and meeting with the people involved.

All investigations are confidential.

Written Report

We will notify you when the investigation is completed.

A written report summarizing the findings is prepared. Given the confidential nature of investigations, we are unable to share the report or the results with you.
