"The success of VMware is a direct result of who we are as people and what we value. Our values define us as a company, and differentiate us from our competition. For VMware to continue on its path of proven success, we must live the VMware values at every level in the company. Having a culture of integrity is a key component of our foundation and for our growth. Integrity forms the basis for the VMware Business Conduct Guidelines. These Guidelines outline the standards of behavior expected of each one of us at all times. They are not simply about how to comply with the law. Compliance with the law is the minimum requirement of every person in the VMware community, but acting with integrity and upholding our values means much more."

VMware Business Conduct Guidelines

Our Business Conduct Guidelines serve to guide the actions of our employees, officers and directors in ways that are consistent with our shared values.

Welcome to the VMware Ethics Helpline

VMware’s corporate reputation is achieved by our individual business conduct. As VMware employees, we are responsible for: conducting business with integrity; complying with all applicable laws, rules and policies; and representing VMware responsibly within the communities where we operate.

ETICA, VMware’s Ethics Helpline is a method for reporting actual or suspected conduct inconsistent with law, rules, policies or VMware’s values. VMware has partnered with NAVEX Global an outside vendor, to provide our Helpline service and give you a way to confidentially report concerns or ask questions. You may file a report on-line from this site or dial the toll-free number for your country. Use the icons below to access dialing instructions or to submit a written report or question.

VMware recognizes the courage it takes to speak up and raise issues, and we will never retaliate or tolerate retaliation against any person who provides information or otherwise assists in an investigation or proceeding regarding actual or suspected misconduct. You should never fear speaking up and raising concerns; VMware will keep all reports confidential and anonymous, to the extent possible where permitted by local law. All concerns are taken seriously and retaliation against anyone who raises an allegation in good faith is prohibited.

In some countries, local data privacy laws restrict the types of reports that can be accepted through the VMware Ethics Helpline. These restrictions generally limit reporting to financial, accounting, auditing, and bribery matters. If you wish to report matters outside those allowed for your country, please contact a member of the Legal Department or the Ethics and Compliance Officer.
