Do not use this site to report events presenting an immediate threat to life or property. Reports submitted through this service may not receive an immediate response. If you require emergency assistance, please contact your local authorities.

Tyonek Native Corporation, together with its Subsidiaries, are committed to conducting business with the utmost honesty and integrity

In keeping with our values and principles, the Tyonek Hotline has been created to give you a secure resource to report concerns should you encounter them in the workplace. This hotline is a complement to the Tyonek Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.

In addition to reporting violations of the TNC Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, reports can be filed in the following areas:

  • Fraud
  • Illegal activity
  • Accounting and auditing matters
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Disclosure of confidential information
  • Discrimination or harassment
  • National Security concerns
  • Falsification of contracts, reports or records
  • Misconduct or inappropriate behavior
  • Workplace Safety
  • Drug or Alcohol Abuse
  • Violation of corporate policy

Issues related to day-to-day operational matters such as work schedule, workload, break times, employee benefits, etc., should not be reported through the Tyonek Hotline. Those types of issues should be discussed with the employee’s supervisor/manager or the Human Resources Department.

In addition to this toll-free hotline and website, you may also consider the following options:

  • Speak to your Supervisor or Manager
  • Contact Human Resources

What to Expect When Contacting the Hotline

Calls and on-line reports are anonymous. The source of the call or report is not identified unless you wish to identify yourself.

When you ask a question or file a report, you will be issued a report key and asked to create a password. Make sure to write down your report key and password.

With your report key and password, you can return to the Ethics Hotline via phone or this website at any time, and check for updates to and/or questions about your report from the Hotline.

If you file an anonymous report, please revisit it within 10 business days. You should do this in order to answer any questions the staff investigating the matter may have posted to your report, since they have no other way of contacting you.

Cooperation

Tyonek takes good faith allegations of improper conduct very seriously and employees must cooperate fully with any internal investigations of such allegations. Any employee who interferes with, or provides false information in the course of an internal investigation may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Protection Against Retaliation

Tyonek strictly prohibits retaliating against someone for making a good faith report of an ethical or legal concern. However, if a report is made in "bad faith," for instance, if a false or misleading report is made deliberately (as opposed to an honest mistake) the person making the report may be subject to disciplinary action.
