To ensure we continue to build on our reputation of integrity, Devon partnered with EthicsPoint to provide the Devon Ethics and Compliance Helpline, a secure and independent resource for voicing concerns of wrongdoing or conduct inconsistent with our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. If you are a Devon employee, customer, vendor, business partner, or community member and have a concern about the ethical behavior of our employees or company, please utilize one of the options provide by EthicsPoint to voice your concern.   • You should report the following:
    • Harassment
    • Discrimination

    • Any type of accounting irregularity

  • — Who manages the helpline?
  • EthicsPoint, an independent third party administrator manages the helpline. EthicsPoint will send a report within 24 hours to specific individuals within Devon Energy who are responsible for evaluating the report, based on type of violation and location of the incident. Each Devon Energy report recipient is trained in keeping the reports confidential and safeguarded.
  • — Will I remain anonymous?
  • Yes. If you request to remain anonymous when making your report, we will respect your request. However, employees may be encouraged to give their identity so that Devon Energy may contact the employee in the event further information is needed to pursue the investigation.
  • — How do I file a report?
  • EthicsPoint is designated to maintain your confidentiality and anonymity. You may use either of the following two methods to submit a report:

  • — What happens to my report?
  • Every report of wrongdoing received through the EthicsPoint helpline will be thoroughly investigated by Devon Energy’s Security & Ethics Department. We utilize all internal/external resources necessary, and if the investigation concludes there has been undue harm against an individual, the company acts with the highest integrity to resolve the situation.
  • — How do I follow-up on my report?
  • After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a “report key”. After 5-10 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
  • — What if I have an emergency?
  • Do not use this site to report events presenting an immediate threat. If you have an emergency, please contact Corporate Security or the local authorities.
  • — Will I be retaliated against?
  • The Company will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, reports an actual or suspected violation of law of this Code. Employees who do retaliate will be subject to disciplinary action, including the possibility of termination of employment.
  • — Why should I report what I know?
  • You have a duty to adhere to the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and all other Company policies and procedures and to report any suspected violations. We all have the right to work in a positive environment and with that right comes the responsibility of acting in an ethical manner and letting the appropriate people know if someone is not acting appropriately.
