Q. What is Speak Up?
Medline’s Ethics & Compliance Reporting Line (Speak Up), is Medline's confidential channel through which you can ask questions and raise concerns about ethics, compliance, violations of regulations, laws or policies, or Medline’s Code of Conduct.
Q. May I remain anonymous?
Yes, if you request to remain anonymous when making your report or raising your concern, we will respect your request (unless prohibited by local law; be aware that some countries outside of the United States have laws that do not allow anonymous reporting).
Q. Who administers Speak Up and is Speak Up available in multiple languages?
Speak Up is administered by an independent company (NAVEX), is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and can accommodate reports in more than 75 languages.
Q. Who else can I speak to if I have a question or concern?
Medline encourages speaking up through the channel with which you are most comfortable, whether that be Speak Up (web or telephone), your own manager, another member of management, a human resources representative or any member of the Office of Ethics and Compliance.
Q. What happens after I contact Speak Up?
Once you ask a question or raise a concern on Speak Up, via either phone or web, you will receive a report key and password which can be used to follow up. Then an electronic summary of your report or inquiry is sent to an Speak Up Case Manager for review and to determine further action.
