To Make a Report

You can file a report anonymously by using either of the following:

  • Call the Hotline @ 866-840-7787
    (toll free in US & Canada)
  • OR
  • Select the "Make a Report" link at the top of this web page.

After you complete your report, you will be assigned with a unique code called "report key" and will be asked to choose a password. Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.

The Port of Oakland (Port) is committed to upholding its stakeholders' trust by adhering to the highest ethical standards of business conduct and promoting a culture of transparency and accountability. In doing so, the management of the Port recognizes its responsibility to create an environment in which suspected acts of impropriety are brought forward timely without fear of retaliation, and a process that ensures appropriate, consistent, and timely institutional response to all reports of improprieties.

The Whistleblower Hotline (Hotline) is part of the Board-adopted program that supports the foregoing commitment. To provide a confidential, safe, and secure avenue to submit a report, the Port has contracted with EthicsPoint, a third-party independent provider, to operate and maintain the Hotline.

Under the Port's Whistleblower Protection Policy (AP18), the Port is committed to protecting its employees who act as whistleblowers from retaliation. We appreciate your support and cooperation.
