At Jackson State University, we are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards essential to the university's success. As responsible and accountable stewards, we must actively engage in efforts to meet this commitment.

The JSU Ethics Line was established to ensure an effective means of reporting unethical behavior and activity that poorly reflects the transparent, equitable and inclusive culture we promote at JSU. The JSU Ethics Line is a comprehensive and confidential reporting tool aimed at addressing abuse, fraud, and other misconduct while continuing to cultivate a positive work environment.

Unethical behavior does not and should not characterize the JSU community. Therefore, I am dedicated to swiftly addressing problematic or questionable behavior and actions.

Ethics Point, an internet-based reporting system, manages the JSU Ethics Line. This system allows for confidentially and discreetly disclosing criminal, unethical, or inappropriate activities or behavior that violates JSU policies. This system protects your identity and provides a formal investigation, follow-up and response method.

Please recognize that the JSU Ethics Line is an addition to the university's existing reporting channels. When used wisely, our reporting avenues serve the university well in ensuring consistency in maintaining the high ethical standards we all strongly expect. Please continue using our established communication channels to resolve issues or disputes as necessary.

Sincerely,

Dr. Elayne H. Anthony

Acting President
