Welcome to the Delaware River Port Authority Ethics Hotline and the Office of the Inspector General

The DRPA is committed to the highest standards of ethical behavior. As a part of that commitment, we believe our employees and the general public should be able to raise questions or voice concerns about the way we do business.

The DRPA Ethics Hotline provides employees and members of the public with a confidential channel to report instances of waste, fraud, abuse or ethical misconduct. These include, but are not limited to, violations of federal, state or local laws/regulations, misappropriation of government resources, gross mismanagement, waste of public money or abuse of authority.

The Ethics Hotline is supervised by the Office of the Inspector General, a department created by the Board of Commissioners in 2012 to act as an independent, internal watchdog over the DRPA and PATCO. The Inspector General is responsible for detecting and deterring waste, fraud, abuse, corruption, mismanagement and any alleged illegal activity that might involve the DRPA or PATCO.

All reports made to the Ethics Hotline will be received by EthicsPoint, a confidential third-party reporting service. EthicsPoint uses state-of-the-art security and encryption technology to ensure the anonymity of people who file ethics complaints.

EthicsPoint can accept hotline reports 24-hours-a-day throughout the year, facilitate anonymous two-way communications with investigators and transmit completed investigative reports to the Office of the Inspector General. The system maintains the strictest confidentiality at all times.

Note: The Ethics Hotline should not be used to raise general complaints, advance suggestions or report general personnel issues. Those matters should be referred directly (by telephone, e-mail or personal contact) to the DRPA Human Resource Services, the Office of Business Development & Equal Opportunity, the Office of the Inspector General or the Office of the General Counsel.
