Asking for Guidance & Reporting Concerns

Access to the UL Global Ethics helpline is available to all UL staff, our clients, suppliers and other parties who have a working relationship with UL.

The UL Global Ethics helpline allows you to confidentially and anonymously report suspected illegal or unethical business activity or ask for help when you have an ethics question or concern. All information provided to this Helpline will be treated in a confidential manner within the limits allowed by the law.

If you are concerned that illegal or unethical business activity may have occurred or if you have an ethics question or concern, please report your concerns by either using the Dial-In instructions or by selecting a location under MAKE A REPORT. By reporting your concerns, you are protecting the reputation and integrity of our People, our Company, and our Mark.

An independent company, not UL, operates the helpline. Anytime, day or night, the helpline is available and calls will be accepted without charge to you. When you contact the helpline, you will be asked specific questions. While you may remain anonymous, please provide as much information as possible so we may effectively address your concerns.

After you have completed your interview, you will be provided with a unique code called a “report key”. Please write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. You will need this information to access your report and to upload any documents or additional information.

If you have already filed a report, please use the FOLLOW UP ON A REPORT link to check on the status of that report or to provide additional information or documentation.
