Bi-State Development (BSD) is an organization with strong values of responsibility and integrity. We are dedicated to providing our employees with an ethical and professional work environment and a safe and productive workplace. BSD’s integrity depends on the protection of our employees, our physical assets, and our information. BSD’s Employee Code of Conduct & Ethics contains general guidelines for conducting business with the highest standards of ethics. In summary, our expectations are simple and straightforward:
BSD is committed to creating a work environment where open and honest communications are the expectation, not the exception. BSD's Board of Commissioners and your management team value your input. We want you to feel comfortable in approaching your supervisor with instances where you believe violations of policies or standards have occurred. Although we encourage you to try to address issues with your supervisor first, you should also feel free to approach any member of management with your concerns.
In situations where you prefer to report the issue discretely, you are encouraged to use this helpline, which is hosted by EthicsPoint, an independent third party vendor. Your reports of misconduct, concerns, or other suggestions can be submitted either by name or on a completely confidential and anonymous basis. You can be assured that:
We appreciate your support and cooperation in helping to keep BSD a responsible and ethical public agency from top to bottom.
