SunWater’s Code of Conduct

This is one of the most important policies for our organisation and a source of pride because it communicates what good behaviours already exist within SunWater to share with others, and for us to build upon. It is also underpinned by our values, which is something many of you created, so this demonstrates our support and commitment to these values.

Our Code of Conduct is simple and straightforward and aligned to our three values

  • Take Responsibility

Reporting Non-Compliance

SunWater is committed to an open and accountable workplace where employees may, in good faith, raise concerns about suspected misconduct or breaches of this Code of Conduct without fear of unfair treatment or reprisal.

SunWater expects any employee who suspects misconduct or a breach of the Code of Conduct to report it to their immediate supervisor. If, due to the circumstances, this is inappropriate or impractical, individuals should contact one of the following:

  • the relevant Senior Manager, General Manager or Executive General Manager
  • the Executive General Manager, People and Transformation
  • the Chief Executive Officer

SunWater also expects individuals to be familiar with the Public Interest Disclosure and Whistleblower Policy and Procedure and the Fraud and Corrupt Conduct Policy and Procedure and, where appropriate, report matters in accordance with these Policies to the SunWater Whistleblower Hotline.

To submit a concern to the SunWater Whistleblower Hotline, call 1800 339 276 (toll free) or make a report via the EthicsPoint website https://secure.ethicspoint.com/domain/en/default_reporter.asp.

To Make a Report to SunWater Whistleblower Hotline

Please note that this system is for the reporting of complaints relating to a potential breach of SunWater's Code of Conduct. If your complaint is concerned with customer service levels or business operational matters, please call the SunWater's Customer Support line on telephone number 131589.

You may use either of the following two methods to submit a report:

  • Select the "Make a Report" link at the top of this web page.
  • OR

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 8-10 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.

Do not use this site to report events presenting an immediate threat to life or property. Reports submitted through this service may not receive an immediate response. If you require emergency assistance, please contact your local authorities.
