Our Commitment

The United Nations International School is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards, including complying with all applicable laws, regulations and UNIS policies, and fostering an environment that is free from all forms of intimidation and retaliation. The school makes every effort to ensure maintenance of the high ethical standards to which we are all committed. UNIS will endeavor to address appropriately all serious concerns brought to its attention about legal, financial, accounting or business improprieties. If improper conduct is found to have occurred, UNIS will take appropriate corrective action.

The school wants you to feel comfortable in approaching your supervisor or management in instances where you believe violations of policies or standards have occurred.

In situations where you prefer to place an anonymous report in confidence, you are encouraged to use this hotline, hosted by a third party hotline provider, EthicsPoint.

The information you provide will be sent by EthicsPoint to the Human Resources Department, or, if necessary, the head of the Board of Trustees Finance Committee. The school will promptly investigate all reports, and recommend appropriate corrective action to the Executive Director, if warranted by the investigation. To the extent possible, reports of concerns and the related investigation, shall be kept confidential consistent with the ability to conduct an adequate investigation.

To Make a Report

You may use either of the following two methods to submit a report:

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
