Pathfinder has always been committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct in everything we do and everywhere we work. We also expect our partners, agents, subawardees and vendors to have similar standards and policies that appreciate and promote lawful and ethical conduct. Our reputation and the trust and confidence of our employees, donors, partners and others are vital to our mission.
Anyone who works for, represents, or acts on behalf of Pathfinder has an obligation to report suspected misconduct to ensure that these standards are met. We are committed to an environment where open and honest communications are the expectation, not the exception. We want you to feel comfortable using any of the available reporting channels when you believe violations of laws, regulations, or rules; Pathfinder policies; donor requirements; or ethical standards have occurred or are occurring. All reports will be handled confidentially. Pathfinder encourages, but does not require, you to provide your name and contact information when making a report so that we can directly contact you for additional information as appropriate.
In situations where you are not comfortable using Pathfinder’s internal reporting channels, you are encouraged to use this confidential and anonymous hotline, hosted by a third party hotline provider, EthicsPoint. The hotline is accessible to anyone, including individuals who are not currently affiliated with Pathfinder. When you report actual or suspected misconduct using EthicsPoint, you can choose to identify yourself or to make the report anonymously. All reports of suspected misconduct will be tracked and investigated promptly in a manner intended to protect confidentiality and consistent with a full and fair investigation.
Pathfinder will not tolerate harassment, retaliation, or adverse employment consequences of any individual as a result of such a report. Any officer, director, employee or agent of Pathfinder International who engages in retaliation will be subject to discipline up to and including termination.
See the EthicsPoint FAQs for more information.
After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 1-2 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions. Continue to check your report for more communications until you are informed that an investigation was completed or determined not to be required.
