You may use either of the following two methods to submit a report:
For parents of international students, parents who reside overseas, or Study Abroad students, please use the "Make a Report" link at the top of this web page to file a report. Reports can be made anonymously or you may identify yourself.
After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "Report Key." Write down your Report Key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5 to 7 business days, use your Report Key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
EthicsPoint is NOT a 911 or Emergency Service:
Do not use this site to report events presenting an immediate threat to life or property. Reports submitted through this service may not receive an immediate response. If you require emergency assistance, please call Citadel Public Safety (843-953-5114) or the Charleston Police Department (911 from local area).
The Citadel is an organization with strong values of responsibility and integrity. Our Ethical Principles for Employees and Ethical Principles for Faculty contain general guidelines for conducting business with the highest standards of ethics. Our College Policies also provide a framework for ethical behavior.
The Citadel is committed to an environment where open, honest communication is the expectation, not the exception. We want you to feel comfortable approaching your supervisor or management in instances where you believe violations of policies or standards may have occurred.
In situations where you prefer to place an anonymous report, you are encouraged to use this hotline, hosted by EthicsPoint, a third-party hotline provider. You are encouraged to submit reports relating to violations of laws, regulations or Citadel Policies, or as stated in our Ethical Principles pages mentioned above, as well as asking for guidance related to policies and procedures or just providing suggestions.
The information you provide will be sent to us by EthicsPoint on a completely confidential and anonymous basis, if you so choose. Your comments will be heard and addressed by the Office of Institutional Compliance (843-953-2667) or the Internal Auditor (843-953-5118).
