After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
The Code of Ethics exists to ensure that DeKalb County government operates with strong values of responsibility, integrity and . To achieve this goal, the Code of Ethics provides that the Ethics Office will be independent in its operations and authorizes the creation of a process in which reports can be made directly to the Ethics Office.
The Ethics Office is committed to fostering an environment where operating with the highest standards of ethical conduct is the expectation, not the exception. We want you to feel comfortable in reporting instances where you believe violations of policies or standards have occurred without fear of reprisal or retaliation.
You are encouraged to submit reports directly to the Ethics Office as well as seek guidance regarding ethics related issues, policies and procedures. We are here as a resource to you.
In situations where you prefer to make an anonymous report, you are encouraged to use the Integrity Hotline, hosted by a third party provider, EthicsPoint. You may also submit a confidential written report on the form provided by EthicsPoint.
The information you provide to EthicsPoint will be sent to directly to the Ethics Office on a totally confidential and anonymous basis if you should choose. You have our guarantee that your concerns will be timely reviewed and appropriately addressed.
