Our Commitment

Eastern Kentucky University is an accessible, nurturing and academically rigorous center of learning that is committed to integrity, accountability and open communication.

Preserving the integrity of EKU enhances the value of the institution. By adhering to federal and state laws and abiding by University policies, regulations and procedures, we all can demonstrate our support for EKU.

To help maintain our high standards of responsible behavior, EKU has launched a new initiative to increase the University’s awareness of possible compliance issues. Early awareness allows EKU to address any confirmed issues in a proactive and positive manner.

All team members should feel comfortable in approaching their supervisors about instances they believe could be in violation of established laws, policies or standards. However, since some individuals may prefer to report an instance anonymously, our initiative includes a telephone and Internet-based reporting hotline.

The hotline is operated 24 hours every day by EthicsPoint, a third party provider, so that reports relating to possible non-compliance issues may be submitted in complete confidence. The hotline is also a resource for guidance on policies and procedures and a convenient way for providing positive suggestions and stories. Please See the EthicsPoint Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for more information.

Thank you for your steadfast commitment in making this great institution even better. Together our future is bright.
