College of Western Idaho (CWI) is committed to conducting its affairs ethically and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as institutional policies. Every member of the CWI community has an obligation to uphold that standard. CWI’s Policy Manual, contains guidelines for conducting the affairs of the College with the highest standard of ethics and integrity, through the Codes of Conduct and Ethics policies.
Employees, students, and the college community are expected to report concerns about potential or apparent unethical, illegal or otherwise inappropriate behavior to a supervisor, the relevant Compliance Contact, or the appropriate vice president.
Although the College does not tolerate retaliation against any individual making a report in good faith, there may be situations where you prefer to place an anonymous report in confidence. CWI has partnered with a third party hotline provider, EthicsPoint, to provide an avenue for submitting anonymous reports relating to violations stated in our Code of Conduct and Policies and Procedures, as well as asking for guidance related to them and providing positive suggestions and stories.
The information you provide will be sent to us by EthicsPoint on a completely confidential and anonymous basis, if you should choose. You have our guarantee that your comments will be heard.
CWI takes all reports regarding ethics and compliance matters seriously and will investigate each report. After filing a report, please return to the reporting website or call the toll-free number in 5-7 business days. To access an existing report, you must have the report key provided to you by EthicsPoint and the password you created during your initial contact. It is important that you follow-up in the event additional information is necessary to conduct a thorough and complete investigation. You may continue to remain anonymous when responding to follow-up questions.
It is important to note EthicsPoint is NOT a 911 or emergency service:
Do not use this site to report events presenting an immediate threat to life or property as reports to this site may not receive an immediate response. If you require emergency assistance, please dial 911, Campus Security at 208.562.3333.
There are additional situations that EthicsPoint is not intended to be used for as they are addressed in the usual course of business. Examples of those instances can be found here.

You may use either of the following two methods to submit a report:
After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
