Our Commitment

Olympus Corporation of the Americas and its subsidiaries and affiliates (“OCA”) strive for ethical and compliant behavior, and are committed to providing a workplace where open communication and dialogue is encouraged. This is a critical component of our Open Door policy and essential to a work environment that fosters innovation and creativity. It is important that all employees feel comfortable to freely discuss their suggestions and concerns with their managers. Where this would not be appropriate, employees should feel comfortable speaking with the next member of management in their upline or to their HR Generalist. OCA will not tolerate any form of retaliation relative to good faith, professional communications that are made by employees with concerns or suggestions.

We understand however that there may be some circumstances where an employee will wish to report a concern anonymously. To ensure that allegations of improper or illegal conduct, activities or practices are heard and addressed, we provide an anonymous, confidential reporting system (the “Integrity Hotline”). The Integrity Hotline is maintained by a third-party, EthicsPoint. You can make reports to the Integrity Hotline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year, by telephone or by using the internet. The Integrity Hotline offers global capabilities with translation services for up to 70+ languages. When using the Integrity Hotline, you may elect to remain anonymous. In all cases, reports are treated with the utmost discretion and investigated by a subject matter expert in a prompt and thorough manner.

You should use the Integrity Hotline to report improper or illegal work-related conduct such as:

  • Any violations of the Code of Ethics and/or the Health Care Compliance Code of Conduct
  • Any ethical issues or concerns relating to business practices, policies and procedures, or employee conduct
  • Any concerns about matters involving accounting or auditing
  • Any violations of applicable laws and regulations

In addition to the Integrity Hotline, you may continue to raise concerns about unethical or unlawful conduct directly to management, Human Resources, the OCA Ethics Compliance Officer, the OCA Legal Department, and/or the OCA Compliance Department. The Compliance Department can be reached directly via phone at 484-896-4472 or via email at: compliance@olympus.com.

The information you provide will be sent to us by EthicsPoint on a totally confidential and anonymous basis if you should choose. You have our guarantee that your comments will be heard.

See the EthicsPoint FAQs for more information.
