Notice of Good Faith

Fayette County Public Schools takes accusations of fraud or misconduct very seriously and as such, asks that all reports to be made in good faith, which means those submitting a report are doing so without malice or consideration of personal benefit. Good faith is lacking when the report is known to be malicious or false. However, a report does not have to be proven to be true to be made in good faith.

Derogatory nicknames, slurs, demeaning stories, jokes, or pictures are considered prohibited conduct and would constitute a violation of usage of this hotline/website.

Fayette County Public Schools Commitment

In the Fayette County Public Schools, we are committed to earning the trust of our stakeholders and maintaining a culture of transparency and high ethical standards. In order to prevent and detect fraud, waste, abuse, or violations of law or Fayette County Board of Education policy, we encourage anyone who suspects misconduct to report it immediately.

Reports using this third-party online site or the toll free number 844-227-1792, are confidential, risk-free and anonymous if you so choose. Information you provide to EthicsPoint will be sent to the FCPS Compliance Officer in a format that protects your confidentiality.

All submissions will be given careful attention and handled promptly and discreetly. No retaliatory action will be taken against those reporting or inquiring in good faith about potential ethical breaches.

In order to create an environment where open, honest communication is the expectation rather than the exception, FCPS also has other avenues for you to share concerns, complaints or criticisms that are not legal or ethical in nature.

The grievance process is available for individuals with a specific concern related to their own employment.
