Every Mattel employee is responsible for acting with integrity, which includes upholding the standards of ethical business conduct found in our Code of Conduct and other policies, and obeying the laws of the countries and communities in which we do business. If you believe that a Mattel employee has violated these standards, we want you to tell us so that we can investigate and, if necessary, correct any problems. The EthicsLine allows you to report potentially unethical situations using a telephone or web-based hotline run by a third party vendor. You may also bring any ethical questions or concerns to your manager, or to a member of Human Resources, the Law Department, Internal Audit or Global Security.
In the European Union and some other countries, the EthicsLine may be used only for reports concerning accounting, internal accounting controls, auditing matters, bribery, and insider trading. However, if you are unable to make a report using the EthicsLine you may use one of the other reporting channels available to you, as listed above.
