Herzing University is committed to the provision of an engaging learning environment and the promotion of a culture of professionalism, respect and integrity. Herzing University accepts responsibility for communication of its institutional values to its constituents, including students, faculty, staff, and administration and does so through the publication and distribution of policies and procedures in the college catalog, as well as in various handbooks. A culture of integrity must include a process whereby students may appeal grades and dismissals, submit complaints, and file grievances.

In an effort to facilitate responsiveness to student appeals, complaints and grievances, this website has been established. All students are encouraged to utilize this website to initiate an appeal, complaint or grievance process. All complaint and grievance information is confidential; if desired, it may be submitted anonymously. The first step in the process is to identify the nature of the concern from the following categories:

• Report of Violation of Student Code of Conduct
• Appeal Violation of Student Code of Conduct
• File Grievance
• File Complaint
• Sexual Harassment

If uncertain as to which category to select, please choose the category that most closely applies.

Students may wish to speak with a University official prior to submitting information using Ethics Point to ensure that appropriate protocol is being followed.
