Orbis’s organizational values of accountability, commitment, innovation, integrity, and equity imply a strong commitment to responsibility and integrity. Our written standards and policies contain general guidelines for conducting business with the highest standards of ethics.
Orbis is committed to an environment where open, honest communications are the expectation, not the exception. We want you to feel comfortable in approaching your supervisor or management in instances where you have a good faith concern regarding the legality or ethics of any action or proposed action by an Orbis representative, or if you have a good faith belief that action needs to be taken in order for Orbis to be in compliance with applicable laws, policies or ethical standards. This includes concerns regarding discrimination, harassment, equal employment opportunity, confidentiality, fiscal impropriety, safeguarding and child protection, conflict of interest, corruption, legal compliance or our Code of Conduct generally.
The Orbis Ethics Hotline, hosted by a third party hotline provider, EthicsPoint, provides you with an opportunity to place an anonymous report in confidence and allows Orbis to effectively track, monitor, and follow-up on employees’ concerns.
You are encouraged to use the Orbis Ethics Hotline to submit online or telephone reports relating to unethical and unlawful behavior within Orbis. The information you provide will be sent to us by EthicsPoint on a totally confidential and anonymous basis, if you so choose. You have our guarantee that your comments will be heard.
The following is an illustrative list of actions or proposed actions that you are requested to report:
