Our Commitment

Phillips Academy endeavors to create a community environment that respects diversity and encourages people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs to understand and respect one another. Our General Expectations of Behavior serves as a Code of Conduct for adults on campus, while The Blue Book guides student behavior.

Our General Policies Handbook for Faculty, Administrators and Staff, and The Blue Book (for students) provide protocols for reporting concerns about misconduct or policy violations. In addition, parents, students, faculty, staff and alumni may also make reports through the Academy’s confidential Web intake http://www.andover.ethicspoint.com or by calling 1-844-302-0434. The website and hotline number are hosted externally by EthicsPoint.

Please note that the EthicsPoint service is not a substitute for any existing reporting methods or protocols already in place at the Academy for reporting suspected problems or complaints. Instead, the EthicsPoint system provides an additional means of reporting such issues. Also, in situations where you prefer to place an anonymous report, the EthicsPoint hotline or online reporting system will allow you to do so. (Please note that, in accordance with Academy policy, faculty, administrators and staff may not make anonymous reports about sexual misconduct, hazing, harassment, discrimination, or bullying.)

Any suspected problems or complaints reported via EthicsPoint will be reviewed in accordance with current Academy procedures, including those described in The Blue Book and/or the General Policies Handbook for Faculty, Administrators and Staff.

See the EthicsPoint FAQs for more information.
