FGCU has partnered with NAVEX, a third party provider, to offer the EthicsPoint reporting system to enable the secure and anonymous reporting of activities which may involve misconduct, fraud, abuse or other violations of FGCU policies.

FGCU is committed to providing a safe, secure, and ethical place to work. We want you to feel comfortable in approaching your supervisor or management to address your concerns. The EthicsPoint Hotline is not intended to replace any existing reporting methods available at the university, but it is available in instances where you feel uncomfortable using these channels. No retaliatory actions will be taken against anyone for reporting using the EthicsPoint Hotline. All the reports will be reviewed, investigated, and responded to as discretely and promptly as possible.

Reports made in EthicsPoint and associated investigatory records will be kept confidential to the extent possible under applicable state and federal law. Complaints filed through EthicsPoint may be considered public record under Florida law, and as such may be subject to disclosure upon request.

  • Non-Academic Student Conduct Matters should be reported to the Dean of Students https://www.fgcu.edu/studentlife/dean_of_students/
  • Faculty, staff, and students who have questions or concerns related to the university may consider contacting the University Ombuds to discuss options.

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
