To Make a Report

You may use either of the following two methods to submit a report:

  • Dial toll-free, within the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico and Canada:

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.

The College is committed to an environment where open, honest communication is the expectation, not the exception. We want you to feel comfortable in approaching your supervisor or member of management when you believe violations of policies or standards have occurred.

In situations where you prefer to place an anonymous report in confidence, you are encouraged to use this hotline, hosted by a third party provider, EthicsPoint. You are encouraged to submit reports relating to violations stated in our Code of Conduct, as well as ask for guidance related to policies and procedures. You may even submit positive suggestions and stories..

The College affirms its commitment to ensure that employees who complain about discrimination or harassment are protected from retaliation based upon their good faith opposition to discriminatory conduct. Pursuant to Broward College policy, employees can file a complaint of alleged discrimination or harassment without fear of retaliation.

Broward College will follow applicable policies and procedures in handling your Concernline report dependent on the subject matter of the report. Your report will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt. If you choose to remain anonymous, the College will conduct all updates via the NAVEX/EthicsPoint System. The College will attempt to complete all investigations within the applicable procedural time line after the date the report is filed, which in most instances is within 90 days. The time limitations set forth may be extended by mutual agreement of the reporter and the respondent(s) with the approval of the investigator. *Note, various Broward College policies may have different time frames and if applicable, the specific investigation time frame will apply.
