Our Commitment

Mayor Kelly and the City Council are committed to an environment where open, honest communications are the expectation, not the exception. You should feel comfortable in approaching your supervisor or department management in instances where you believe violations of policies or standards have occurred.

This Hotline is for the reporting of Fraud, Waste and Abuse. If you choose, it allows an anonymous report to be made in confidence as it is hosted by a third-party hotline provider, EthicsPoint. Examples of appropriate reports for this Hotline are: Employee theft, use of City assets for personal gain, conflicts of interest, etc.

Complaints related to discrimination, harassment or hostile work environment should be reported in a timely manner to a supervisor, department head or the Human Resources Department. See Sections IV (B) and (C) of the Employee Information Guide. If you feel you have been subjected to abusive conduct and are concerned about reporting it to management, it may be reported to an elected official.

This Hotline is not intended for filing grievances. Grievances are complaints that an employee has been treated unfairly. See Section XI (C) of the Employee Information Guide for details about filing a grievance. The Hotline should not be used to file a complaint about pay, lack of promotion, improper job classification, etc.
