The mission of Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is to provide “safe and reliable water…in an ethical, sustainable, and financially responsible manner.” WSSC’s employees and contractors are expected to adhere to all applicable laws, WSSC’s Code of Ethics and policies.
Activities or conduct that you believe violate the law or WSSC policy should be reported. This includes violations of the Code of Ethics, financial irregularities, policy violations, or any other concerns you may have. You don’t have to be sure it’s wrong to know it’s not right.
When reporting an incident of fraud, waste, abuse (FWA) or an ethical issue, you can use this secure Hotline, hosted by a third-party hotline provider, EthicsPoint. The FWA Hotline is a centralized reporting vehicle for the WSSC employees and other stakeholders … to report confidentially suspected occurrences of fraud, waste, and abuse without fear of retaliation.”
You can choose to remain anonymous or provide your contact information. Employees who report suspected violations are protected under the WSSC’s Comprehensive Whistleblower Protection Regulation.
