Reporting Misconduct at Alphabet

Unethical, illegal or irresponsible acts can cause serious loss or harm to an organization, its employees and its customers. That's why it's the responsibility of all our employees to help prevent these activities and preserve our culture of integrity. If you see or suspect misconduct, report it immediately to a manager, Employee Relations, the Ethics & Compliance team, or here as a helpline report.

If you prefer, you can choose to report anonymously. If you choose to report anonymously, please remember to follow-up in case clarifying information is needed. Remember, it’s impossible for us to contact you if you report anonymously. You’ll need to check back in with us.

All Alphabet employees, temps, vendors, contractors, and interns are welcome to file helpline reports.

No Retaliation

The Alphabet Code of Conduct states "Never retaliate against anyone who reports or participates in an investigation of a possible violation of the Code."

We prohibit retaliation for raising a concern or participating in an investigation. This means taking action that has an adverse impact on an employee or TVC as a consequence of reporting, or participating in the investigation of, a possible violation of our Code of Conduct, our policies or other laws.

Adverse impact may include, but is not limited to, activities like termination or demotion. It can also mean being excluded from opportunities that you otherwise wouldn't have been excluded from, like meetings with clients and other important stakeholders.

If a complaint of retaliation is substantiated, then appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination, will be taken. If you believe that you have been subjected to retaliation, please report it.
