Gates has defined the entities to which reports may be made. If you do not recognize the options available or know what to select, you may wish to reach out to your line manager or a leader within the human resources or legal teams.
Gates has additional reporting channels for countries in the European Union. In accordance with local law, Employees based in these countries have the option to report concerns through a local channel, although Gates encourages all employees to report matters to the Legal Compliance and Integrity Team.
Please note that concerns involving issues not covered by local law may be referred to the global Legal Compliance and Integrity Team.
Gates is committed to an environment in which open, honest communications are the expectation, not the exception. We want you to feel comfortable approaching your supervisor or management about instances you are concerned may involve violations of Gates policies or standards, or the law.
If you prefer to remain anonymous, you may do so. Please give as many details as possible in your report. The information you provide will be sent to us by EthicsPoint on a confidential basis and will remain anonymous if you have chosen to be anonymous. You may attach supporting documentation to your online report.
After submitting your online report, be sure to write down the report key and your chosen password so that you can follow-up on the status of your report and provide additional information, if needed. Use of the report key will allow you to communicate confidentially with us and will keep your anonymity intact.
