  • Dial toll-free, within the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico and Canada:

Our Commitment

AVANGRID is committed to ethical business conduct and compliance with the law. Our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics describes the key principles that apply to all employees and agents of the company, and reflects our commitment to the highest standards for ethics and integrity.

What is expected of employees:

In addition to meeting the standards established in our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, you are expected to speak up when you become aware of potentially unethical or illegal practices by others. Whenever you wish to report a concern or require guidance, we encourage you to speak with your direct supervisor. Other resources available to you include other managers, members of senior leadership, Human Resources and the Compliance Division.

Helpline reporting and additional resources:

In situations where you prefer to anonymously report a breach of our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, the option is available to you through our independent, third-party helpline, EthicsPoint. You should be aware that anonymity is not required and you can use your name when using the EthicsPoint service. For your convenience, the EthicsPoint helpline is available toll-free and by online submission. All helpline calls are answered by EthicsPoint employees, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

The EthicsPoint helpline can also be utilized by employees as a resource, providing access to experts who can give you guidance for decision-making when an ethics or compliance situation has arisen.

In addition to this Helpline, ethics and compliance resources and guidance are available on the governance section of our public website and the Compliance Division section of AVANGRID’s corporate intranet.

See the Helpline FAQs for more information.

What happens when a concern is reported to EthicsPoint

After a concern is reported, EthicsPoint submits a written report to the AVANGRID Compliance Division. The Compliance Division will follow-up and, if necessary, initiate an investigation. During this process, confidentially will be maintained to the extent feasible while appropriately addressing the situation. No adverse action will be taken against any employee who makes a good-faith report through EthicsPoint. Acts of reprisal and retaliation are prohibited and the company takes such matters very seriously. You should not, however, make a report of a malicious nature or based solely on rumor, gossip or knowingly false information.

Questions and concerns not relevant for EthicsPoint

General questions regarding company policies, collective bargaining, and employee benefits should be directed to Human Resources and the OneHR Hub.
