To Make a Report

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 2-3 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.

Orica encourages you to report on actual or suspected breaches of Our Code, standards or the law, and is committed to the protection of those who report.

In the first instance we encourage you to approach your manager or others within the Legal, Ethics & Compliance teams, HR or the Manager, Business Conduct.

Our Speak-Up Service

In situations where this is not possible, or you prefer to make a report anonymously, you are encouraged to use this Speak-Up service, which uses a third party provider, EthicsPoint to take reports via webpage or through a hotline.

The Speak-Up service enables reporting of your concerns, suspected or actual incidents that are in serious breach of Our Code of Business Conduct or the law. It is not intended to act as a substitute for direct feedback, and it should not be used for malicious or retaliatory reports.

Some examples of the types of incident or concerns that should be raised include:

Personnel or Workplace Concerns
Details
  • Bullying, harassment, discrimination, victimization or workplace violence;
  • Conflicts of interest or improper relationships;
  • Breach of SHES policy, or Group Documents;
  • Theft, misuse or misappropriation of equipment, fixed assets, resources;
  • Falsification of employment records, reporting or work-related claims
  • Disclosure of non-market sensitive information.
Theft, Fraud or Security
Details
  • Falsification of financial accounts, records, purchase orders or invoices, including for personal gain;
  • Requesting or receiving payment or any value item from a supplier or potential supplier;
  • Information Technology Security protocols;
  • Actual or potential retaliation, victimisation or discrimination against someone who has made a report; or
  • Theft, misuse or misappropriation of Orica products or breach of security standards.
Ethics and compliance incidents or concerns
Details
  • Breach of the Ethics & Compliance Group Standard;
  • Payment of bribes, facilitation payments;
  • Use of Orica funds to make a political contribution;
  • Conducting / authorising a prohibited transaction (breach of sanctions); or
  • Anti-competitive conduct.
Insider trading or unauthorised disclosure incidents or concerns
Details
  • Insider trading;
  • Unauthorised disclosure of market-sensitive information; or
  • Breach of the Securities Dealing Group Standard.

The information you provide will be sent to a limited, authorised number of people in Orica by EthicsPoint, on a confidential basis and preserving your anonymity is you wish. Orica will take your report seriously and will act on it in accordance with the Orica Group Procedure for Code of Business Conduct reporting and investigations.
