Pew Research Center promotes a working environment that values respect, fairness and the highest professionalism. If you believe violations of our policies or standards have occurred, we encourage you to raise these concerns without fear of retaliation. In situations where you prefer to place an anonymous report in confidence, you are encouraged to use this hotline, hosted by a third party hotline provider, EthicsPoint. You are encouraged to submit reports relating to violations of our code of ethics, policies and procedures.

Whether you choose to remain anonymous or come forward in-person, you have our promise and commitment that your concern will be properly investigated. In all instances, the information you provide will be treated with care and will only be shared if required to complete the investigation and to take the necessary steps to address any issues discovered during our inquiry. To Make a Report

You may use either of the following two methods to submit a report:

  • Dial toll-free, within the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico and Canada:

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions. This way we can communicate with you while your anonymity is maintained.
