Food for the Hungry (FH) follows the Heartbeat, our values, vision, and purpose. The FH Code of Conduct and its organizational policies align with the Heartbeat and contain high standards of ethics by which we conduct ourselves and work toward achieving our purpose.
FH is committed to creating an environment where open, honest communication is the expectation, not the exception. FH staff and beneficiaries should feel comfortable approaching a supervisor or organizational leader in instances where policy and ethical violations have occurred.
However, we understand you may not always be comfortable sharing information about policy and Code of Conduct violations in person. If so, you are encouraged to use this hotline or website (hosted by the third-party provider EthicsPoint), to submit anonymous reports. You can also use it to receive guidance relating to policies and procedures, or even to share positive suggestions and stories. The information you provide will be sent to us by EthicsPoint on a confidential and anonymous manner. You have FH’s guarantee that your comments will be heard.
See the EthicsPoint FAQs for more information.
After you complete your report, you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
