If you prefer to place a report or an anonymous report utilizing this hotline system, EthicsPoint will send the information you provide to the University of Chicago Office of Compliance on a confidential or anonymous basis. You have our guarantee that your concerns will be heard. This system is operated by NAVEX Global, a third-party provider, and is available 24x7x365.


If your concern relates to the University of Chicago Medicine (UCM), the primary point of contact is the UCM Resource Line at (877) 440-5480.

If you have been sexually assaulted, contact the University of Chicago Police Department by dialing 123 (campus phone) or (773) 702-8181. University of Chicago students may also contact the Sexual Assault Dean on Call at (773) 834-4357.

If you want to alert the University of an individual who needs assistance in safely navigating potential emotional, personal, or academic concerns, please complete and submit a reporting form to the University of Chicago Behavioral Intervention Team available at https://studentmanual.uchicago.edu/ViolencePreventionPolicy.

The University of Chicago policy prohibits retaliation against an individual who in good faith reports or provides information through EthicsPoint.

To Make a Report

After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
