Our Commitment

Responsibility and integrity are core to Generation, and we believe in conducting our work with the highest standards of ethics.

Generation is committed to nurturing an environment of open and honest communications, treating each other with respect and fairness, and holding ourselves accountable. The success of Generation’s ethics and compliance program depends largely on ensuring that issues or concerns can be shared without fear of retribution or retaliation. Generation prohibits any reprisals from submitting reports or sharing information as stated in our network-wide Whistleblower Policy.

We want you to feel comfortable in approaching your supervisor, program leaders, or Generation management in instances where you believe violations of internal policies or standards, including safeguarding concerns, suspicions of fraud, or perceived discrimination or harassment, have occurred. Although we encourage you to share your identity, there is always the opportunity for you to report anonymously if you choose to do so. In those situations, you are encouraged to use this hotline, hosted by a third-party hotline provider, EthicsPoint.

Regardless of how you report, Generation will do its best to keep sources of information pertaining to potential violations confidential. While we can’t guarantee complete confidentiality in every situation, we can guarantee that retaliation against you for making a good-faith report will not be tolerated.

All reports of alleged non-compliance and violations will be responded to appropriately, including an investigation of the offense to prevent further similar offenses. Generation may discipline any Generation team member whose conduct violates applicable laws, regulations, or our internal policies. Questions about the hotline, Generation internal policies, or what happens once a report is submitted may be directed to compliance@generation.org.

See the EthicsPoint FAQs for more information.
